Frequently Asked Questions
I just collected my keys. Is it too early to contact an interior designer?
Not at all! in fact, this is the best time. Most renovation projects take 3–4 months to complete, and good designers book up fast. Starting early gives you more time to plan, compare, and make decisions without rushing.
Do I need to have a budget in mind before reaching out?
No. A lot of our clients come to us with just a rough idea. During our first consultation, we'll help you understand what's realistic for your flat size and priorities, so you can make an informed decision, no pressure to commit!
How is TDF different from other interior design firms?
We don't do hard sells. We meet you in person multiple times before you sign anything, and we design around how you actually live, not just what looks good in photos. Our clients often tell us the process felt like working with a friend who happened to be a great designer.
How long does a typical BTO renovation take?
Most 4-room BTO renovations take between 8–14 weeks depending on the scope of work. We'll give you a realistic timeline during your first consultation — and we stick to it.
What styles does TDF specialise in?
We work across Japandi, Modern Luxury, Scandinavian, Mid-Century Modern, Minimalist, and Contemporary. If you have a Pinterest board or saved references, bring them, that's usually the best starting point.
