Founder
YuTing founded The Design Factory with a conviction that great homes come from genuine understanding — not from rushing clients to sign on the dotted line. Under her leadership, TDF has grown from a small studio into a team of five designers with our own carpentry factory, all built on the principle that good design takes time.
Her design work centres on Japandi warmth and family-friendly spaces that evolve with their owners. Known for her thoughtful before-and-after transformations, she designs homes around how families actually live — not how a showroom thinks they should.

Each designer brings a distinct aesthetic tradition
With nearly a decade at TDF, Darren has defined our approach to modern luxury. His work spans high-end residential and commercial projects — marble, brushed metal, and warm timber composed with restraint. Every surface earns its place. Every proportion is deliberate.
Pei Yuan
Pei Yuan has a natural eye for calm, intentional spaces. Her Wabi-Sabi and cream-style (奶油风) designs celebrate organic forms and soft neutrals — where imperfection becomes beautiful intention. Spaces that feel lived-in from day one, not sterile or performative.
Jerrold chia
Jerrold's Italian minimalist and modern French influences produce spaces that feel effortlessly curated — sophisticated without trying too hard. Clean geometry, considered material pairings, and the kind of restraint that makes a room feel expensive without shouting about it.
Oliver
Oliver designs with exacting precision and a blutalist sensibility — bold structural choices softened by meticulous detailing. His spaces have a quiet confidence: strong lines, honest materials, and compositions that reward a second look.

We don't rush you into signing. Multiple consultations, revised concepts, and questions answered without a timer running. Your renovation is a big decision — we treat it like one.

Our designers have been with TDF for years. That means institutional memory — they know which suppliers deliver, how finishes hold up, and what works in a 4-room HDB versus a penthouse.

We Dont Disappear
One-year workmanship warranty. After that, minor adjustments — a hinge, a soft-close — at no charge. Larger repairs get priority service at transparent rates. Your home stays ours to care about.
